About Us

Carol Brooks and Lesley Smith established DogOn Fitness in 2004 in Reston, VA with the goal of creating a home service for dogs that addresses dog's fitness, socialization, and behavior needs.

With feedback from happy clients, Lesley and Carol expanded their services to include puppy visits, convenience services (boarding/vacation, Taxi) and a Family Integration Training (F.I.T.) package that helps owners develop and maintain a positive relationship with their dog.

In 2009, Jackie Peterson and Nancy Grunley joined the DogOn Fitness Team, officially opening a Maryland Branch of DogOn Fitness to accommodate increasing requests for services in Maryland.

Carol writes the "Hit the Trail" series in NovaDog Magazine that highlights local destinations for active dogs and their owners.

DogOn Fitness is bonded and insured. Our exercise services require a Vet’s approval and recommendation.
